Retro Christmas cookies

Guest post written by Elizabeth Reynolds

Over the past few years I've baked all kinds of crazy cookies just for a change and for fun. But last year I think I got a little too weird for my family when I baked some candied fruit cookies and even though I liked them, they didn't and I just ended up eating them by myself. So this year I'm going retro and am just going to whip up some classic Christmas cookies.
I was online trying to find the perfect recipe for what I had in mind and when I was doing that I actually found Miami Clear internet online offer that sounded pretty good, so I signed our household up for it.
I did end up finding a retro Christmas cookies recipe and fixed it. My family actually ate the cookies this year and I'm going to make another batch tomorrow because they are such a hit with them! This time though my daughter's going to help me by putting some sprinkles on them.

Vintage cookie cutters

Guest post written by Breanne Morrison

My mom loves spending lots of time in the kitchen cooking and baking things. So every time that I get her a present I try to come up with something relevant to that. There are really all kinds of things that are fun that you can get for the kitchen. Last year I got her this really neat cupcake tower and she's used it on a couple of special occasions since then. It's stuff like that, not just boring casserole dishes, that I love to find and pick out.

So I went online to try and come up with a neat kitchen or baking gadget that I could get her. When I was looking up that stuff, I came across some info about MOBILE BROADBAND pricing and after I looked through it a little bit more, I chose one of the packages I found on there for myself.

Then I found some vintage cookie cutters that I thought would be really nice to give her. Out of all the gadgets, she doesn't really have many of those. So I found a really cool holiday canister to put them in instead of wrapping it. I thought it would be nice to keep on the counter for decoration during the holidays too.

Holiday centerpiece at a discount

Guest post written by Holly Snyder

I think that it's really silly to spend a whole lot of money on something that you're only going to use for a month or two out of the whole year. So when it comes to holiday decorating, I make sure to try and do it affordably.

I've had a holiday centerpiece that someone gave to us right after we got married that I always set out on our dining room table, but it was just getting so old and shabby looking. I went on some of my favorite design blogs to find an idea for a centerpiece that I could make with very little money. When I was doing that I saw the website www.clearwirelessinternet4g.com and after checking it out, decided to change over our home internet service to the provider.

Out of all the ideas that I found, most of them incorporated candles somehow, so I went to the Dollar Store and picked up several, along with some little hurricane glasses to put them in. I put together the holiday candle centerpiece with the candles in just a few minutes and it looks pretty impressive for the little money that I put into it!

Awesome Star Trek Wedding in Las Vegas

Contributed by Alvin Graves

Two years ago my BFF, Abby, decided to have a unique wedding in Las Vegas. Myself and most of the guests live in Los Angeles, so the we decided to make a three night event out of this wild and wacky ceremony on The Strip. The theme was a Star Trek wedding, complete with Spock ears for the men and lavish costuming for all. Not exactly what her mother had dreamed of, but the whole concept and event was brilliant. I bought a gold lame "space suit", packed up for Vegas, set my home security alarm system from http://www.besthomesecurity.com and made it on the airport on time.

Both Abby and I play guitar and she brought her band with her for the big day. Afterward, I played with them at the reception at the hotel, all of us wearing to die for cocktail dresses and the worn out space make-up from the ceremony. You can pretty much have anything you want for a Las Vegas wedding, the price is right, and the service is swift and powerful. Looking back, this is something that I will consider for my own nuptials one day for the adrenaline rush and guarantee that I'll have the best darn wedding pictures on the block.
