Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign
Buying signage for shows was always such an ordeal. There are a few office supply stores, but the selection is very limited as to what they can do. Signs on paper or laminated signs and posters are usually no problem. However, if you want something that is an unusual size, or a little more elaborate there are limited options. Running around town, or having to go out of town completely, usually is what happens next.
I thought about getting some sort of permanent sign that was a little old fashioned looking to put up at trade shows and antique mall booths. However, the only thing I could think of was a wooden sign and the only way to get those would be go to a craft fair, and then it would look too rustic for my wares. You probably have seen what I am talking about with either stencil lettering or wood burning. Old fashioned can be refined, it doesn't need to evoke "Gold Rush."
FastSigns has locations all around the country in major markets, and in the UK and Canada, too. There bread and butter is signs, so you don't have to worry about what will be the right size for output on a copy machine. They can do banners, of course. What if you want an illuminated sign for a display or if you get that little shop someday? They can do that to and keep your look uniform throughout, versus taking what you can get. While they may do the "big stuff," they can also supply you with decals and other items to match your graphics and sign.
