Season Transitions: Black Pashmina
Early spring brings its own host of fashion dilemmas. Some days are chilly, while others are quite balmy and have one hunting for shorts. While bulky sweaters are put away, what does one really wear when its really too hot for a coat, but you need a little something.
For women, its not too late in the year for a black pashmina. It is a bit more timeless than wearing a shrug on the shoulders, and can be wrapped around the shoulders like a serape, or it can cover the lap in a drafty theater. Black carries a bit of elegance to it, where bright colors may rob your choice of its versatility.
While Pashminas have always been a bit eider than a scarf, some of the new styles are a full 72" and really classify as a cashmere shawl.
When you are looking to add a timeless staple to your wardrobe or are looking for an appropriate gift, this is something that will remain a staple for years to come.

I wouldn't say these are just for women - as long as you don't wear it like a keffiyeh but instead a large, bulky scarf, I am perfectly content to add something like this do my smart or business outfit.
I think simple black pashmina does'nt looks well unless if it is with ivory colour or some zari on it.
